The Columbarium
Silver Lake Cemetery
Silver Lake Cemetery offers columbarium niches as a dignified option for the interment of cremated remains. Our columbarium provides a lasting, central place where families can gather, remember, and honor those they love.
Whether you are making arrangements now or planning ahead, we are here to help guide you through the process with clarity and care.
What is a Columbarium?
A columbarium is a permanent memorial structure made up of small compartments called niches. Each niche is designed to hold urns containing cremated remains.
Unlike scattering ashes or temporary memorials, a columbarium offers permanence, beauty, and a central place for remembrance. Each niche is engraved with the name and dates of your loved one, creating a lasting resting place and family legacy.
Why Choose a Columbarium
- Lasting & Secure: Granite Construction ensures inscriptions and legacies are memorialized for generations to come.
- Eco-Friendly: Avoids embalming chemicals, caskets, or vaults.
- Space Efficient: Designed to hold multiple urns in a small footprint.
- Accessible: A central, peaceful location to visit and remember loved ones.
- Affordable: Less costly than traditional in-ground burials or cremation plots with monuments.
- Flexible Options: Niches can hold up to two urns, allowing couples or families to remain together.
